By my last site evaluation I had a fairly good idea of what I should expect. While every evaluator has his or her own idea of how precisely an H&P should be written I feel reasonably confident that after initial comments I will be able to better mould my subsequent H&Ps to my evaluators’ specifications. I am still (of course) developing my own confidence in my assessment and plan but am feeling more self-assured in that particular skill as well. In my initial site evaluation reflections I felt that I struggled with my pharm cards and I will say, that is probably the least concerning aspect of my evaluation at this point. As always, I received excellent feedback from my evaluator and overall I really appreciate the opportunity my evaluations have afforded me to present patients, understand where my weaknesses lie and improve upon them.
